Scaniam gives every event a QR code and a tellable short link. Print the QR code for the booth so attendees can scan it, and use the short link when you need to say or type the address. Both open the same survey.
QR code or short link
Every event has two ways to reach the survey:
- QR code: the main one for the booth. Attendees point their phone camera at it and the survey opens. Download it and add it to your booth banner, table sign, or slides.
- Short link: a tellable web address for when a QR code does not fit. Use it on a slide, in a message, or when you read the address out loud.
Both point to the same survey, so use whichever fits the moment.
Good to know
- Print the QR code large enough to scan from a step or two away.
- The short link is meant to be easy to say and type, so it works well off screen.
- You can reset an event's gift links if you need to retire ones you already shared. After a reset, share the new link or QR.
Common questions
What should I print for the booth?
Print the QR code. Attendees scan it with their phone camera and the survey opens. You can download it as an image to drop into your booth graphics.
When do I use the short link instead?
Use the short link when you need to say or type the address, for example on a slide, in a chat, or over the phone. It is easy to read out.
Can I reset a shared link if I need to?
Yes. You can reset the gift links for an event, which turns off links you shared earlier. Share the new one after resetting.
