Every completed survey becomes a lead with the attendee's answers attached. At the Sales Station, your rep scans the attendee, reads those answers, and rates the lead Hot, Warm, or Cold on the spot, so follow-up is prioritised from a real judgement instead of a guess.
From answer to qualified lead
A lead in Scaniam is the attendee plus the answers they gave. Because the survey asks qualifying questions, such as job title and interest, a completed survey already tells you whether the person is worth a follow-up.
What Hot, Warm, and Cold mean
The rating is your rep's judgement of how promising the lead is, captured in one tap:
- Hot: a strong fit, follow up first.
- Warm: worth a follow-up, lower priority.
- Cold: not a fit right now.
Because the rating is tied to the rep who made it, you get rep-attributed leads. Sales leaders can see who captured what, and follow-up starts from a real score rather than a guess.
Good to know
- The rating is saved against the contact, so it is there when you export or follow up.
- A lead is still captured even if no rep rates it. The rating is an extra layer, not a requirement.
Common questions
Who rates the lead?
Your sales rep does, at the booth. They sign in to the Sales Station, scan the attendee, see the survey answers, and tap Hot, Warm, or Cold.
When does the rating happen?
While the attendee is still in front of the rep. Rating at the booth is more accurate than trying to recall the conversation days later.
Can I capture a lead without a rep present?
Yes. The survey captures the lead on its own. The Sales Station adds the rep rating on top when a rep is at the booth.
