Scaniam FAQ: the top questions

Scaniam is a QR-based lead capture and qualification platform for event booths. It has a free plan, needs no app for attendees, and lets your reps rate leads at the booth. The answers below cover the questions we hear most.

Common questions

Is Scaniam free?

Yes. There is a free plan with no credit card required, and you can run a real event on it within the monthly response limit.

Do attendees need to download an app?

No. Attendees scan a QR code and complete the survey in their phone browser. There is no app and no login for them.

How do attendees get their gift?

After the survey they play a game and receive a unique code. A rep or volunteer scans that code at the booth and hands over the gift. Each code works once.

Can I qualify leads at the booth?

Yes. At the Sales Station a rep scans the attendee, reads their answers, and rates the lead Hot, Warm, or Cold on the spot.

Does Scaniam remove duplicate leads?

Yes. If the same person takes part in more than one of your events, Scaniam merges them into a single lead automatically.

Can I export my leads?

Yes. You can export responses and leads to CSV on every plan, within your monthly response limit.

Which features are premium only?

Almost none. Core features are on every plan. The main paid extra is the AI executive summary in the ROI report.

Does it work on slow conference WiFi?

Yes. The attendee survey runs in the browser and is built to work on crowded event WiFi, with no app to download.
